Seemingly Endless Rut

I don't know if anybody even reads this anymore, but once again I'm going to attempt to revive my ancient (but not entirely dead!) blog. Almost 7 years old, and it's still here. I have to do something. And, damn it all, I need to learn how to code. I've recently created two websites for a client I work with all the time. Using Adobe Muse was fairly simple and straight forward, but I know the coding isn't 100% top notch, and I keep running into small problems. Like the font on one site is a different size than the other, even though I copied one site to the other....Ugh. Thinking is so hard.😦

I guess I have to suck it up and sit down and teach myself. I have no time for classes ( I work full time PLUS a part time job that's more of a full time job. 😑) Well, if anyone actually reads this, I'm open to suggestions as to good online references and resources for coding (I'm liking HTML5 and CSS, and I know other languages are out there, but IDK) I also need to learn so I can pimp out my blog!

Inktober is coming up, so I'd like to also think about maybe using this blog to compel me to plan out what I'd like to do for the month long challenge. And follow through with it. It's terribly hard for me to start my own projects. I've always struggled with it. I'm going to try hard and update at least once a week, and go from there. And definitely make art once a day, regardless of how I feel, or how tired I am. Inktober, I SHALL WIN YOU!

I was thinking of doing a Pokémon themed challenge, but I'm gonna hunt for other challenges and see what's out there! 😬

Holy crap.

It's been 4 years since I've been active on here. I really do want to start this back up. Blogging, that is. I'm also thinking of doing video reviews of a smorgasbord of stuff.

I'm not sure.

But let's see where this goes.

I'm going to try my best to update as often as possible, with the optimum being every other day.

There will be photos.

Maybe some of my own art.

Possibly even art from projects I work on.

I don't know.

I just hope I can keep this updated from now on. For now, baby steps.

HEY! A new post! :D

SO.

I have not updated in the longest of times. I hope to be updating as often as possible. As I've stated on my deviantArt page I am currently in a creativity slump. I really am just drained of most of my creativity at the moment, and I think I'm going to start posting on ways to get out of this lack of creativity crazy ride. I just am so frusterated with myself. 
I would completely cut out TV (as I've read that TV numbs the mind/creativity process) if I didn't have so many favorite TV shows, like American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, Adventure Time, and most movies on the Turner Classic Movie channel. DX

I suppose I could always use my doofus fuzzbutt of a cat for inspiration! :D

Late, and no art...I AM DISAPPOINT.

Well, this will be short, as it is 3:15 in the A.M.

I will first apologize for my late post. This past week has been hectic, but in a good way. My best friend Emily was host to Cameron the Awesome Brit this week. We had many harrowing adventures, which involved copious amounts of Fun Juice (a.k.a. alcohol). Well, not that much really. Just enough to get a little tipsy and rosy in the cheeks. It was quite fun, indeed.
 Hmm...Well, I've been working on some digital art. I was intending to go over to the art campus to use their awesome Wacom tablets and finish coloring stuff, but alas. I was sidetracked by Final Fantasy 10. And I just almost lost all the information I typed due to shear stupidity. I should probably head off to bed. I promise to upload some art early in the week. Derp.

HEY THAR GUYZ :D

So this past week was somewhat good. I actually finished Math homework, worked on some art, and even played Dungeons and Dragons!!! It was all good! I was going to scan in the art I finished for today, but I didn't find enough time to do it, and my personal scanner is currently at a certain friends place....
  On another note, I think I'm going to try and get an internship this summer. I just need to discuss it with my advisor. I so hope I can get one in the area. That would make me so happy. It would be a real plus if it was a paid internship, that way I wouldn't have to hunt for a job. I'm so lazy.
  Well, since I didn't upload the art that I finished today, I suppose I can upload some more old stuff I've done over the years. Note: This is definitely not my best stuff.

This is a design I did for a contest I never entered. I think it was a Toshiba 'Design a Laptop Skin' contest....

      

I don't know what the complete idea behind this was, but I'm rather sure that it has something to do with Modest Mouse. I found this in a folder labeled 'Graphic Design'.
